2. What is your favorite way to eat eggs?

Huevos Rancheros!Mmmmmm Mexican style with lots of salsa and spicy!

3. What is your favorite reading material?

Books Pictures, Images and Photos

I am a book worm!Reading is one of my passions!I am usually reading a few books at a time .Have to have some fiction and non fiction going!

4. Name all the pets that you have ever had?

Ferret Pictures, Images and Photos



Ok this is going to sound a bit crazy but since I wasn’t allowed to have pets when I was a child…I had them all as a grown up .My kids have been lucky. We have had

ferrets, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs ,hamsters, geckos, snakes and yes even a tarantula!!

At the moment we have 2 dogs, Pancho & Legend and 3 kitties, Junior , Simba and Carmelo…Phew

5. Were you ever a girl/boy scout?

Yes I was!I was a brownie & girl scout!LOVED it!

    Wow you have had a lot of pets! Your kids are very lucky.

    I also have a couple of books going at once. I keep one in my car, one by my bed, and then I load some on my ipod touch to read when I work out.

    I love cruises - been on at least ten 3 day ones - my husband would throw contests for his sales team - we would host.... I love pets too - we have a dog - I bought a new Betta last week and just discovered it had died a little while ago.. crazy.. sad..

    I forgo we had a ferret when I was a kid. Ours wasn't a pet though. Dad used it to go rabbiting. How cute is that ferret picture. Was that one of yours?

Artist of the Week :Frida Kahlo

Happy Sunday! I decided to start an "Artist of the Week " post to do on Sundays!It's a good way to learn more about the  different styles of each artist. This week in keeping with my Mexico theme, I will feature the  fabulous    Frida Kahlo : Frida was born on  July 6th, 1907 in Coyoacan, Mexico to a Hungarian-Jewish father a nd a mother of Spanish and Mexican Indian descent. She was one of four daughters. Frida did not plan to become an artist .She had been studying Medicine at the " Escuela Nacional Preparatoria" in Mexico City. Out of 2000 students, Frida was one of only 35 women accepted into the prestigious institution. However in 1925  at the age she was severely injured in a bus accident in  which she suffers fractures to her spine, collarbone and ribs, a shattered pelvis, and shoulder and foot injuries.
