Swap-bot swaps:postcards

I love participating in swaps over @ swap-bot.com!
A few months ago I discovered skinnies.Skinnies  are like ATC'S only bigger at 3" by 5".  I like the larger surface to work on..skinnies are my favorites at the moment and I have been joining in as many swaps as I can work in!I  have also joined in hand made postcard swaps.I like hand made better than store bought.It's cool to see what people create & how thay go through the mail and so many different people get to see the art!

I laminated them with packing tape.I need to find a better way though.Tape can get
wrinkled and make the work look sloppy.if you  have any advice for me on this just leave me a comment or email me !
Thse post cards I made for a purple post card swap:

They were very pretty, although I feel my camera sucks and does them no justice!Anyhow...I put them in a library book to flatten them out and then forgot to take them out when I returned the book!I called and asked about them but they were gone!I hope someone enjoyed them!I had to make a couple more to fulfill my swap!

The glitter looked a lot better when it dried.here it just looks like gobs.The recipient of this postie told me she really liked it!
I like the way old vintage stamps look on cards!
Can you tell how much I love my "live" stamp!? I think I'll be using it often!
I actually bought a few more word stamps this week end so I can change it up!
I'll be working on a couple more postcards this week for swaps.I  will post them when they are done.
Tuesday I'll post a few ATC's and skinnies I've made!

    CARLY, I AM BLESSED TO HAVE A LAMINATING MACHINE, BUT YOU COULD CONSIDER KINKO'S FOR LAMINATING. ANOTHER IDEA IS BUY SOME LAMINATING SHEETS AND TRY DOING IT WITH AN IRON. IT MAY TAKE A BIT OF EXPERIMENTATION AT FIRST, BUT I THINK IT WOULDN'T TAKE YOU LONG TO GET THE HANG OF IT.

Walking on Sunshine with "Ramona & Beezus" this Musical Monday!

It was a busy weekend...but not  spent at home! I let the house work go and decided to relax this weekend!On Saturday we bowled as you can tell from my previous post.Sunday was movie day ! We went to see "Ramona & Beezus" What a sweet movie!We enjoyed it so much.It made me laugh,it made me cry...it made me feel HOPE. I love the soundtrack! This  has always been a feel good song for me: This one is part of the soundtrack as well Lots of good music  in the movie! This is a preview of Selena's new song which is also part of the soundtrack: Loved the movie.The girls worked wonderfully together!
