                         We've had a snowy winter in many parts of the USA.
It's been cold and icy.
But not today!
  The temperature was mild .The birds were chirping.
This brings me joy!
The world is amazing in soo many simlple ways.
It's good to embrace  & love every moment.

    I have to say that spring is my favorite time of the year. It is that burst of life and rebirth that can't help but bring joy even to the hardest of hearts. I love your post...... Short and to the point. I admire those like you that can do that. I am just a wordy person I guess. Have a JOYFUL! rest of the week.

    I love birds. I especially love that moment in late winter when you're not quite sure that spring is ever going to come and you walk outdoors and are treated to a bird symphony.

Artist of the Week :Frida Kahlo

Happy Sunday! I decided to start an "Artist of the Week " post to do on Sundays!It's a good way to learn more about the  different styles of each artist. This week in keeping with my Mexico theme, I will feature the  fabulous    Frida Kahlo : Frida was born on  July 6th, 1907 in Coyoacan, Mexico to a Hungarian-Jewish father a nd a mother of Spanish and Mexican Indian descent. She was one of four daughters. Frida did not plan to become an artist .She had been studying Medicine at the " Escuela Nacional Preparatoria" in Mexico City. Out of 2000 students, Frida was one of only 35 women accepted into the prestigious institution. However in 1925  at the age she was severely injured in a bus accident in  which she suffers fractures to her spine, collarbone and ribs, a shattered pelvis, and shoulder and foot injuries.
