"What would it be like if you lived each day, each breath, as a work of art in progress? Imagine that you are a Masterpiece unfolding, every second of every day, a work of art taking form with every breath."
Take a magic carpet ride with me! A few evenings ago I was visiting the blogs I follow and I came upon this logo: I clicked on it and was immediately transported over to a whimsical bohemian's blog. She is hosting "One world One heart" .. Lisa Swifka created this event in 2007 and it was such a success she does it annually now! How great is that??? Last time I checked there are over 1,000 participants! A bunch of creative, artistic , awesome bloggers participating! A bunch of friends to be made and ideas to share! That's the idea behind this event.Uniting people from all over the world! The give aways are just a little bonus! I am so excited to be a part of this! “Roses and thorns are parts of the same plant. Somehow though, some people are concerned mainly about the roses. The rose is not on the plant for more than a week, but the thorns are there forever. Roses are teaching that the beauty of life will bloom, once you have taught yourself the lessons given by living with the thorns.” ― Grigoris Deoudis This post is part of the Nature Footstep meme. A meme all about flowers and macro shots.
December 12th is the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Each day for the days leading up to it, I am posting a virgin a day. There are many faces to Mary and Rebecca's meme allows us to sjare so many pf them!Come see everyone's contributions here . For my post today I want to share a shadorma poem that I wrote to Mary.It was inspired by a little statuette of the virgin that stands outside the house across the street from mine.I see it every morning and it makes my day begin with a positive attitude and renewed strength to face whatever the day brings. A shadorma by the way , is "a six line poem (sestet) of Spanish descent with no rhyme scheme. It is a syllabic poem with the following structure 3/5/3/3/7/5 ". My Shadorma: Each morning I begin my day greeting you with a prayer Your very presence gives hope Heals my tender soul~ It's Wednesday!Make it wonderful!
That's beautiful.
