Peacefully Chaotic

This past Wednesday while I was rummaging through the donated book bin at my daughter's day care I came across this book. I had seen previews on the film and had asked my oldest daughter to order it for me. I was glad to find the book since I like to read books before watching the movie. I've read many books about the holocaust in the past,but this was definitely different. The story is about the friendship that develops between two little boys from completely different worlds.One is a child "living" in Auschwitz and the other the son of a Nazi commandant.They get to know one another with a fence looming between them...a fence that in the end can't keep them apart... I've been seeing crows everywhere I go lately. Perhaps I've just become more aware of them? I think they're beautiful! The other day one was cawing at me for the longest time.Wonder what she was trying to tell me?For some reason it seemed like a female to me.She was gorgeous!She just cawed and cawed and I spoke back to her. Wish I'd had my camera that day! I love birds in general so I need to get a good camera so I can take photos of them.
